NYE was incredible! Deciding to stay in the Disney area we hit a bar in Downtown and had some delicious cocktails. After meeting a local (see pic) we had a couple of 'shooters' that are massive! Little to say we headed home at 10:30 and missed the Disney fireworks. But that was ok because it was foggy and cold and you couldn't see 5 metres in front of you.
On New Years Day we headed to San Diego Zoo and had a very relaxing day. We were both suprised that we were given 6 hours to explore, however like all things USA the zoo was on steroids and we actually just got to see everything! It was a beautiful zoo and we both had a ball.
Today, the 2nd we went 'investigationing' into LA and jumped on a train to the major station then on the subway to Hollywood. Very proud of ourselves! Spent all day looking at the great sites, including Beverly Hills etc and hit the shops pretty hard. As the picture below suggests we had an interesting view for lunch (wink, wink) I took Cam to Hooters for lunch! That was hilarious!
Anyways off to dinner. Flying to San Fran in the morning.
